Teri responds to Sharon, her counterpart in England, regarding issues concerning insuring Art that is inauthentic. One of the primary reasons that Teri created Fine Art Registry® was to bring transparency and validity to the art world, for artists and collectors alike. She reports on an incident that occurred shortly after Hurricane Katrina. State Farm Insurance adjustors phoned her to inquire about a claim for millions of dollars of artwork. The dilemma was not the authenticity of the work but if the person making the claim had ever really owned the work. This is a fascinating video that should make insurance companies sit up and take notice!
