Avery Hershkowitz Case Study Continued
Park West Gallery Attempts Settlement

Follow the ongoing saga of pirates at sea, now trying to cover their misdeeds on land by giving victims an offer they can’t refuse, almost mob style. With veiled threats that bring to mind the movie The Godfather. In an article entitled Avery Hershkowitz Case Study Continued Park West Gallery Attempts Settlement written by Fine Art Registry™ columnist David Phillips, these tactics are exposed in detail. Included are the actual original emails between the victim and Jordon Sitter, senior Auctioneer for Park West Gallery and self-professed mouthpiece for Mr. Albert Scaglione, owner of Park West Gallery himself.

Abe Hershkowitz and his wife were taken for a great deal of money at one of the Park West Gallery at Sea auctions. Desiring to commemorate their 25th wedding anniversary on their much dreamed of cruise, they unwittingly purchased next to worthless artwork touted to be great investments. A once in a lifetime chance, never to be replicated on land, so said the smooth talking auctioneer.

Now, at home and discovering the ruse and how skillfully they had been duped, Abe and his wife have decided to fight back. These pirates at PW had ruined the memory of their 25th anniversary and they were not taking it lightly. You will read how seemingly out of nowhere came the email from the senior auctioneer, offering free cruises and money, of course with strings firmly attached. The experience of other victims of this scam had received letters from the Park West attorneys’. Why at this time were they resorting to different tactics? And why all of a sudden did they interject subtle threats and timelines? And why by email?

Thanks to the forthright Mr. & Mrs. Hershkowitz, they have agreed to put their disturbing experiences in writing and will perhaps save other unsuspecting cruise passengers from being victimized. Read the entire account at http://www.fineartregistry.com/.
