Bernard Ewell and Park West Gallery Clouding the Issue?

More Truth for Park West Gallery and its Lone Dali Authenticator, Bernard Ewell

If you were one of the unfortunate victims to have “won artwork” aboard a cruise ship “auction” or at an invitation-only event hosted by Park West Gallery, you are no doubt fully aware of the problems arising from your “prize” while attempting to authenticate it. In a searing article written by Theresa Franks entitled More Truth for Park West Gallery and its Lone Dalí Authenticator, Bernard Ewell, the real practices of the aforesaid are exposed.

The much revered auction houses, Sotheby’s and Christie’s have confirmed that the only recognized experts on Salvador Dali original works are Robert and Nicholas Descharnes of Paris, France. Certainly not Bernard Ewell, the self-proclaimed expert of Dali’s artwork as he so blatantly heralds on his web site. There appears to be a collusion here between Park West Gallery, Bernard Ewell and the Albaretto family who are working together to assert the authenticity of many works which have been questioned by real experts in the art industry.

Ms. Franks article asks the key question: If, as they say, the works that they sell are what they purport to be, then why haven’t they contacted the world’s known experts on such works, the Descharnes? In an interview with the author of the article, the Descharnes relate that Park West Gallery have never once contacted them to authenticate anything. I wonder why? Why have they hired Ewell, an appraiser by trade and not an authenticator, and in fact elevated his status to foremost expert on Dali? Why have so many others discounted the Albarettos/Dali collection as not being legitimate?

All of these questions will be answered in this must read article and you are bound to be astounded that this whole travesty is still being foisted on the unsuspecting and sadly misinformed public. Please be informed at http://www.fineartregistry.com/.
