On November 16, 2009 the following program, by WBAL-TV Baltimore's I-Team, was aired in the Baltimore area. It concerns Fine Art Registry member, Richard English, and his purchase of a Salvador Dali print found by experts to carry a fake Dali signature.
It should be pointed out that even if the signature was valid, the print would only be worth $1,000 not $12,000. Hardly a good buy as the Park West attorney states.
If it is such a good buy, then have their attorney buy it! Or better yet suggest he take payment for his services for park west in their paintings at 80% of the appriased value and then quickly recoup his pay with these valauble "prints"..
There is a reason why Park West did not refund the purchase price, no one is standing in line to pay 12K for this art!
