FAR Website Leaps and Bounds
by Tonya Mortensen New Article Catalog and Search Function We have been adding a variety of articles to the Fine Art Registry website. From the FAR featured artist interviews to the latest series on art crime, our Art Article page has become lengthy. The solution to this is our latest installment of FAR Website Improvements: New Article Categories and Search function. Our articles will be catalogued by theme, such as Copyright, Opinion, FAR Contemporary Artists, etc. and a search box will be added as well. This will help site users find information they want quickly and easily.
A new feature for our writers will include an online area where they can read and respond to reader
comments. This will help streamline the process as well as encouraging interaction between FAR writers and site visitors. You can read all about articles on the FAR website here: About the Articles on the FAR Website. New Servers Fine Art Registry is dedicated to keeping up-to-date with the latest technology and security for our website, content, and member information. As a permanent online registry, our robust database is continually capturing new entries and backing up the data. With this in mind we have acquired new data servers to grow with our expanding user network. During the move to the new servers, we will need to temporarily shut down the website for a few hours to preserve the integritity of our data. We will make every effort to ensure that site users and FAR members are informed well ahead of time before this takes place, and that the website downtime is minimal. New Support Features To assist us in providing you with the best customer service possible, we have added two new support systems to allow you to communicate with us in a timely manner. The new Online Chat feature is available as well a our Support Help Desk ticket system. We encourage you to utilize these tools, along with our email and toll-free number whenever questions arise.
